The gravity anomaly produced by a finite-width 2D horizontal slab (buried at a given depth, with given thickness and density contrast) increases with increasing slab width, asymptotically approaching the value for an infinite (Bouguer) slab as width becomes much greater than depth. The relationship between anomaly amplitude at the center/edge and slab width can be modeled using the standard 2D slab (ribbon) gravity formula involving arctangent terms of the width-to-depth ratio.
